As senior data analyst, Matt performs advanced data analytics, assists with ad-hoc requests, automates and improves data processes, and creates both static and dynamic reports and dashboards.
Before joining the office, Matt worked in Student Financial Services at Pitt for the past 17 years. In his most-recent position as a Business Intelligence and Process Analyst, Matt built static and dynamic Tableau dashboards for executives and front line staff, helping to ensure that decision-makers and student-facing employees had the data and insights they needed. He also designed and automated advanced workflows in Alteryx to reduce manual report creation and improve data accuracy.
Matt earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Certificate in Information Systems Design from Pitt. He is currently pursuing Pitt’s Master of Data Science degree, which is providing him with advanced training in data visualization, analytics, system design, and predictive modeling.
